Philly Pride - Sampler

Subject Samplers are designed to connect students to the chosen topic by presenting a small number of intriguing websites for them to explore. By choosing sites that offer something stimulating to do, read, or see; students will be more likely to become personally engaged. Students are then asked to respond to questions about the sites from a personal perspective rather than uncover hard facts (as they do in a Treasure Hunt). In other words, getting students interested will motivate them to learn the content. This Sampler focuses on instilling a sense of pride in the city of Philadelphia.
